Love brought Adele to Western Massachusetts and Temple Beth El in the early 90s. Her husband, Arnold Greenhut, was born in Springfield, and his family were members of Temple Beth El. They have been married for 30+ years and raised their blended family here: Sarah, Hannah and Remy, all of whom were students at SKLC. They now live in Brooklyn and Boston, and the next generation includes grandchildren Milo and Hazel.
Adele recently retired from her full-time professional position as a grant manager in the research administration department of Baystate Medical Center. Among the many joys of retirement is more time to spend on all of the things she loves to do: yoga, birding, hiking, cooking, travel, reading, dancing, spending time with their kids and grandkids, and more time to practice Torah and haftarah reading skills.
