Rhoda has over a decade of office management experience,including six years as the Synagogue Administrator of Congregation Kodimoh. She and her husband, Judd, have lived in the Springfield area for nearly 30 years, and she is already well acquainted with many of the old and new members of Temple Beth El.
Born and raised in West Hartford, CT, Rhoda holds a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in American History from the University of Connecticut. She and Judd are the parents of three grown children: Aaron, Elizabeth and Rebecca.
Rhoda has been an active volunteer in the Springfield Jewish community for many years. She has been a member of the boards of the Young Women’s Division of Springfield Jewish Federation, United Hebrew School, the Hebrew Free Loan Association, and Congregation B’nai Jacob, as well as a member of the Yom HaShoah Observance Planning Committee.
More recently, Rhoda has served as a B’nai Jacob representative on the Beth El / B’nai Jacob Merger Committee, the Rabbinic Search Committee, and the Beth El Board of Directors. Since coming to Temple Beth El, she has also volunteered several hours a week in the synagogue office.
