From the north and east:
1. Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) West to Exit 6 (I-291). Turn left off exit. Follow signs to I-91 South (towards Conn.).
2. Continue on I-91 South to Exit 1, Route 5 South, Longmeadow/Forest Park. Bear left off the exit. Continue on Route 5 (Longmeadow Street) 0.9 miles to the third traffic light. Turn left at light onto Converse Street which is only on your left.
3. Continue 1.2 miles on Converse Street through 1 traffic light. At 2nd light, turn left (at the corner of the Jewish Community Center) onto Dickinson Street. Continue 0.5 miles on Dickinson Street to Temple Beth El (will be on the right).
From the west and southwest:
Take the New York State Thruway to the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90 East) to Exit 4 (I-91 South). Continue from #2 above.
Alternate:
1. Take Interstate 287 to Interstate 684 North to Interstate 84 (Danbury) East to Hartford.
2. In Hartford, follow signs to Interstate 91 North.
3. Continue on I-91 North to Exit 49, Longmeadow, MA /Route 5 North.
4. Stay right for Northbound exit lane; turn right at traffic light onto Route 5 (Enfield Street). The name changes to Longmeadow Street upon entering Massachusetts. Continue on Route 5 (9 traffic lights) for 3.1 miles, turn right onto Converse Street. Continue from #3 above (directions for north and east).
From the south:
1. Take Interstate 95 North (New England Thruway) to Exit 48 (in New Haven) to Interstate 91 North.
2. Continue from #3 above (directions for west and southwest).
