Women's League of Temple Beth El

Women’s League Update... (Beth El Bulletin, May 2008)

Women’s League of Temple Beth El had a very successful first joint Sisterhood venture between B'nai Jacob and Beth El on Thursday evening March 27th. Twenty three women met in the Goldband vestibule with lots of enthusiasm for new programming aimed at social events for women. Two programs that are planned so far for the fall are tallit making and cooking classes. Everyone seemed excited about coming together to promote new awareness about various topics and issues. The women voted to hold our next meeting Thursday June 5th at 6:45pm to 8:15pm in the vestibule. We are looking forward to also seeing those women who expressed interest but were not able to come to the March meeting. We welcome women of all ages to continue to come and join in being involved and bring new ideas to our Women’s League Sisterhood to benefit our Sisterhood women, our Synagogue and our community. Watch for publicity from Women’s League of Temple Beth El coming soon about this meeting.
